About the Role
As a Clinical Pharmacist Consultant at Lifelancer, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of healthcare. Your expertise in clinical pharmacy will be instrumental in driving high-quality, cost-effective pharmacy services.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
  • Evaluating prior authorization requests, appeals, and retrospective claim reviews to optimize medication choices for efficacy, safety, and affordability.
  • Providing evidence-based clinical decision-making to determine medications with the best value for efficacy and safety.
  • Analyzing healthcare cost information to forecast trends and identify opportunities for quality improvement and cost-effective prescription drug programs.
  • Presenting clinical positions on medication analysis in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in clinical acute care/hospital setting.
  • Pharmacy license and active participation in continuing education.
