Join Our Preschool Music Team

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Preschool Music Teacher to join our team at Stratford School. As a Preschool Music Teacher, you will play a vital role in laying the foundation for young students to become lifelong appreciators of music.

About the Role

As a Preschool Music Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and implementing curriculum for our Preschool classrooms. You will collaborate with other faculty and staff members to plan and integrate the core knowledge curriculum within the music program, such as music history.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Planning and implementing engaging music lessons for young students
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers to integrate music into the curriculum
  • Playing piano for classroom performances
  • Assisting teachers with the use of rhythm instruments
  • Introducing young students to the piano
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field from an accredited college or university. Piano proficiency and sight reading expertise are required. Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred.

What We Offer
