Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer with experience in building analytic tools and solutions to join our Strategic Data Solutions (SDS) team. The SDS team is responsible for mitigating fraud, waste, and abuse company-wide while optimizing data analysis over petabytes of data.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and implementing production software for preventing fraud.
  • Designing system architecture.
  • Working with external infrastructure teams to drive the development of infrastructure needs.
  • Innovating by recognizing opportunities for automation and tool improvements.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • Mastery of one of Python, Java, Scala, C++ or equivalent languages.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering/data science.
  • Experience building data science or data analysis tools on Hadoop/cloud-based systems.
  • BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.
