Position Overview:


An exciting opportunity exists for a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist at Avera St. Luke's Hospital. This role is essential in providing patient care within a modern, dynamic laboratory setting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures with a high level of technical proficiency.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, particularly in adult patients.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring patient safety and care quality.

Qualifications:


Applicants should possess an Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Science degree, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience preferred. Familiarity with cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, ECG interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring is essential.


Licensure and Certification:


Certification from ARRT or a similar accrediting body is preferred. The Cath Lab Technologist must also fulfill the continuing medical education requirements associated with their certification.


Work Schedule:


This position primarily involves day shifts as needed, with opportunities for PRN work.


Compensation:


The hourly wage for this role is competitive, starting at $37.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
