Position Overview

The Lead Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering technical and analytical expertise to the Operational Test & Evaluation Force.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of structured integrated testing (IT) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) for U.S. Navy combat systems.
  • Manage the accreditation and utilization of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools, ensuring the integrity of required databases and the production of comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Represent the government client in stakeholder meetings and deliver related outputs as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as either a U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) or Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS), or as an engineer or system analyst within the Defense Industry or Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods.
  • Must be eligible for a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with Operational Test Agencies such as the Marine Corps Test and Evaluation Activity or the Army Test and Evaluation Center.
  • Familiarity with Navy Systems Commands or OPNAV N9.
  • Possession of Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I T&E Certification.
  • Background in military test and evaluation (T&E).
