Position Overview

The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for managing the operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness are upheld in both guest accommodations and public spaces. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and direction for all housekeeping and laundry operations.
  • Conducting inspections to verify cleanliness standards are achieved.
  • Training, motivating, and supervising staff.
  • Creating and maintaining cleaning schedules.
  • Overseeing inventory management of supplies and linens.
  • Updating room status information accurately.
  • Responding promptly and courteously to housekeeping requests.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
  • Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
  • Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility in work hours.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $17.00 to $17.00, depending on qualifications and experience.
