About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Echocardiography. As a member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition, adhering to regulatory agency standards.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completion of Echo Sonography program.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
