We are looking for a Radiopharmaceutical Specialist for an immediate travel opening in Granbury, TX. The right candidate must have 1 year of experience.
As a Radiopharmaceutical Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceutical agents and providing technical support to physicians and researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents for administration
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients under the direct supervision of a radiologist
- Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera
- Provide assistance to patients during procedures
- Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience
- ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT
- State-specific licensing when required
The ideal candidate should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology is essential.
