Student Safeguarder

In this critical role as a Student Safeguarder with Student Transportation of America, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

You will drive a school bus along set routes, carefully observing traffic conditions and weather to ensure a smooth ride.

A successful candidate will possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive a school bus, following established routes and schedules.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee safe operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of student pickups and drop-offs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • 5+ years of verifiable driving experience.
  • Clean driving record (past 24-36 months).
  • Ability to obtain a CDL.
  • Completion of a comprehensive training program.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check.

Salary: Estimated annual salary is $52,221 based on 25-35 hours per week and $25.11 per hour.
