About the Role

The State of Washington's Department of Corrections is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their team at the Washington Correction Center for Women. Key Responsibilities
This role will involve a range of responsibilities, including providing direct patient care, conducting assessments and evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of patients, each with unique needs and challenges, and develop effective strategies to address these needs and improve outcomes. In addition to your clinical expertise, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have an active and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington or a compact state, and at least one year of experience working as a Registered Nurse. You should possess a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, you should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
