Snowplow Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Seasonal Snowplow Driver to join our team in St. Joseph County, IN.

This is a temporary, non-exempt position responsible for operating vehicles, repairing roadways, hauling materials, and performing related maintenance duties.

• Drive various vehicles, including single/tandem axle trucks, backhoe, and snowplow.
• Repair roadways, including patching with asphalt materials, filling holes, and operating trucks to haul materials.
• Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles, including tire repair, cleaning, and other minor repairs.
• Direct traffic around work sites to ensure safety.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement and safe driving record.
• Working knowledge of and ability to operate trucks and related equipment.
• Ability to physically perform duties, including sitting/walking/standing for long periods and lifting/carrying over 50 pounds.

This position offers an estimated hourly salary of $18.45.

Hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM Shift Times: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Possible weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

The selected candidate will be part of the Infrastructure, Planning & Growth – Highway department.
