Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Family Physician

AdventHealth West Florida Ambulatory Services is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner - Family Physician to join our team. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients, including pediatric through geriatric patients, and provide treatment for various medical conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies, to inform patient care decisions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications, to promote optimal patient health.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health literacy and self-management.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant studies.
  • Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license.
  • Current, valid DEA license.
  • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification.
  • Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.
