Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiological Tech to join our team at Global Force USA. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging team, you will assist physicians in interventional procedures and provide diagnostic aid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in interventional procedures and provide diagnostic aid.
  • Perform diagnostic exams on patients in the specialized areas of interventional radiology.
  • Assist with diagnostic angiography, neuro-interventional, and other invasive procedures.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program required.
  • One year of experience in interventional radiology preferred.
Licensing and Certification
  • State of Nevada License in Radiology required.
  • Valid American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Registered in Radiography required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • May require National Certification in Vascular Imaging.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of procedures and protocols associated with radiation.
  • Knowledge of specialized equipment used in interventional cases.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the human body.
  • Knowledge of contrast application and contrast reaction symptoms.
  • Knowledge of venipuncture techniques.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control measures.
  • Knowledge of neuro-body disease.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterile field setup.
  • Knowledge of vascular anatomy, pressures, catheter curves, rated burst pressures, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of personal computers.
  • Knowledge of department and hospital safety practices and principles.
  • Knowledge of patient rights.
  • Knowledge of age-specific patient care practices.
  • Knowledge of infection control policies and practices.
  • Knowledge of handling, storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Knowledge of department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Mobility to work in a typical clinical setting and use standard equipment. Stamina to remain standing and/or walk for extended periods of time. Vision to read printed materials and computer screens. Hearing and speech to communicate effectively in-person and over the telephone. Strength and agility to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
