We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Perioperative Registered Nurse in the Preoperative and Postoperative Care Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from preoperative to postoperative care.
Responsibilities- Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans
- Implement anesthesia and surgical recovery protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote informed decision-making and self-care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current state licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- One year of perioperative nursing experience
- Competitive hourly rate of $30.00
