POSITION SUMMARY:
Welcomes visitors, ensures a secure atmosphere for staff and patrons.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years' experience in a role involving direct guest interaction.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
- A valid driver's license with no suspensions, DUI, or more than two moving violations in the past three years is required.
- Availability to work any day and shift is necessary.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team environment.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required.
- Must be able to acquire First Aid, CPR, and Alcohol Awareness Certifications.
- Accountable for the safety and welfare of guests and fellow staff members.
- Provides guidance and escorts to guests as needed.
- Assists law enforcement and civil authorities, including providing testimony in legal proceedings.
- Conducts patrols throughout the premises to identify safety risks and security breaches.
- Documents lost and found items with detailed descriptions of incidents and individuals.
- Enforces all organizational policies and protocols.
- Administers First Aid and CPR when required.
- Adheres to attendance policies and complies with regulatory, departmental, and organizational standards.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be capable of physically restraining individuals weighing over 200 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy items, and move swiftly on flat surfaces as well as stairs.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to push or pull weights up to 150 pounds.
- Must demonstrate sound judgment when addressing guest and employee concerns.
- Ability to observe and recall specific details of incidents and individuals.
- Must be able to provide court testimony when necessary and compose detailed reports.
- Respond effectively to visual and auditory signals.
- Must maintain a professional appearance.
- Must be prepared to work indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme temperatures ranging from 10 to 115 degrees.
- Ability to remain calm during crises and high-pressure situations is essential.
- Must be capable of working independently.
- Must tolerate environments with secondhand smoke, elevated noise levels, bright lighting, and dust.
