We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Los Altos, California. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement
- Provide patient education and training on exercise techniques and other treatment modalities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies or related field
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California
- 1+ year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
