{"Job Title": "Radiology Technologist", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing x-ray exams for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department service lines. You will also be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and positioning patients and equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform x-ray exams for IP, ER, and OR service lines
* Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations
* Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
* Position patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort
* Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast
* Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
* Produce diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records
* Organize the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies
* Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
* Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment

**Requirements:**

* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
* National Institutes of Health (NIH)
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
* Active unencumbered Radiology Tech Kentucky license
* Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program
* Two years of work experience as a Radiology Tech
* One year of Epic experience
* Associates Degree in Radiology Technology
* ARRT Certification

* Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
* Participates in relevant continuing education programs
* Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
* Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
* A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital
* Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
