C&W Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as ensuring the overall safety and efficiency of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, pumps, and motors.
- Conduct visual inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
- Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including forklifts, boom lifts, and aerial lifts.
- Assist in the installation and repair of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Record and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance and repair plans to ensure optimal facility performance.
- Ensure compliance with all company and customer policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Effectively communicate with team members, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic/Facilities Technician.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a manual and automatic transmission vehicle.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
Working Conditions
The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to mechanical and electrical equipment. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is required. The position requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
