Job Title: Scorekeeper

Department: Hockey

Reports to: Brad Martin, Hockey Manager

Primary Job Location: Oakland Ice Center

FLSA and FTE Status: Non-exempt and part-time

Salary Range or Grade: $20.00 per hour

Responsible for accurately recording and maintaining statistics for adult and youth hockey games.

• Keep accurate league and tournament required statistics and perform necessary data entry.
• Use league-provided scoring systems and score sheets.
• Enforce league rules and guidelines, ensuring they are followed by officials and players.
• Communicate with on-ice officials regarding game situations and player eligibility matters.
• Report major incidents to the adult hockey manager in a timely manner.
• Enforce player roster and player check-in.
• Enforce player suspension list and communicate suspensions to officials.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure policies are properly implemented.
• Know emergency procedures for equipment and evacuation procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the scorekeeper box.

• Ability to wear SSE-assigned uniform during all shifts.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic understanding of ice hockey knowledge and rules.
• Ability to use required computer system to administer games.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
