About the Role

The Security Specialist role is a critical part of our Assets Protection team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and assets. As a Security Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for guests and team members, providing a welcoming and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support sales by engaging guests and team members, and providing assistance with finding products.
  • Lead a physical security culture by assessing and maintaining safe and secure standards throughout the store.
  • Respond to and document security incidents, and provide support to guests and team members as needed.
  • Conduct merchandise recoveries and provide apprehension support as needed, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Prevent theft and shortage by performing receipt checks and providing training to team members.
  • Submit documentation for all incidents, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
