Job Opportunity: Part-time Speech and Language Pathologist

Intermediate District 287 is seeking a part-time Licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our Itinerant Programs team. As a west metro district serving students with unique needs, we provide specialized services to students from 12 member districts.

We are a trauma-informed district, taking into account past trauma and coping mechanisms when understanding behaviors and serving our students. Our schools offer a range of support services, including School Social Workers, Psychologists, Counselors, and Behavior Intervention Specialists.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,136 - $89,528 DOE and E, with a potential $3000 signing bonus for Tier 3 or Tier 4 SLP license holders.

Requirements

We are interested in candidates who are diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations. A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university is required, along with a current teaching license in Speech Language Pathology issued by the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB). Eligibility for an American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association Clinical Fellowship or the CCC certification is also required.
