Job Summary:
The Spa Reception Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members and guests at the KIVA Club. This role requires a high level of professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure a positive experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome members and guests in a friendly and energetic manner.
- Respond to requests and direct calls to staff members and relay messages.
- Schedule spa reservations and maintain daily standard operating procedures for the opening.
- Be aware of the daily Club calendar and become knowledgeable about facility services and programs to encourage members and guests to dine in the restaurants and participate in other spa, salon, and fitness services.
- Sell retail products and handle cash and card transactions.
- Report maintenance and safety issues to the Spa & Fitness Manager or maintenance staff.
- Assist with administrative projects as requested.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year related receptionist, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Knowledge of fitness, aquatics, salon, and spa standards a plus.
- Computer literate and able to calculate discounts and percentages.
- Ability to communicate positively and effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.
- Good time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
Work Environment:
This position operates indoors and routinely uses standard office equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
