We are seeking an experienced MEP Inspector to join our team for a high-profile rail project with LA Metro. As an MEP Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the installation of MEP systems meets design plans, specifications, and industry codes.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Monitor MEP Systems: Conduct routine inspections and tests of MEP systems, identifying and addressing any issues or non-conformities.
- Collaborate with Project Team: Work with the project team, subcontractors, and LA Metro representatives to resolve any MEP-related issues.
- Document Inspections and Tests: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and outcomes for project documentation.
- Review MEP Shop Drawings: Ensure MEP shop drawings and submittals are accurate and compliant with project requirements.
- Ensure Safe and Timely Completion: Ensure all MEP work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate MEP System Integration: Assist in coordinating MEP system integration with other construction activities.
- Minimum 10 Years of Experience: In MEP inspection, preferably on rail or large infrastructure projects.
- Strong Knowledge of MEP Systems: Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems and their integration into large-scale projects.
- LA Metro Standards and Specifications: Familiarity with LA Metro standards and specifications is highly desirable.
- Construction Drawings and Specifications: Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid California Driver's License: Reliable transportation is required.
