Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing open heart surgery and other cardiovascular procedures
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes

Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care environment, preferably in the Open Heart Unit
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start
  • BSN preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) required
  • CNOR preferred
