Position Summary
We are currently looking for detail-oriented and safety-conscious individuals to fill the role of Label Printing Specialist for the second shift. This position is crucial for ensuring that labels are printed according to the established quality standards for each product. The Label Printing Specialist will follow the schedule set by the Inventory Control Supervisor and may also assist in packing when label printing demand is low.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a fully stocked label area with blank label rolls.
- Verify that the correct item numbers are printed according to weekly schedules.
- Scan and confirm that barcodes are accurate during the printing process.
- Inspect the final product for quality assurance.
- Ensure the print quality meets standards for registration and color accuracy.
- Identify any defects in the packaging labels.
- Confirm that labeling is accurate for product identification and information.
- Provide support as a backup packer when necessary based on workload.
Candidate Qualifications
- Ability to comprehend basic written and verbal instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is necessary.
- Capability to stand continuously and perform repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to walk frequently while executing job responsibilities.
- Occasional sitting, reaching overhead, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
