Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. The ideal candidate will be flexible with work hours, dependable, accountable, and cooperative, with the ability to provide safe and age-appropriate care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly, and report any issues to the supervisor or service provider.
  • Patient Care: Verify proper clinician orders, obtain complete clinical histories, and assess for contraindicating conditions before performing procedures.
  • Quality Control: Consistently produce high-quality images, and ensure that all studies are properly documented and stored in the PACS system.
  • Operations: Restock linens and supplies, maintain a clean and orderly department, and transport patients as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
  • ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography certifications
  • Basic Life Support or BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology, with less than 1 year of experience in CT preferred

  • Competent in all aspects of CT, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
