UnityPoint Health is seeking a skilled Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team. As a Neurodiagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' educational needs and providing appropriate teaching or referrals. You will also document patient data thoroughly and accurately, communicate with other healthcare team members, and participate in unit operations.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' and significant others' educational needs and initiate appropriate teaching or referrals.
- Document patient data thoroughly and accurately.
- Communicate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services.
- Participate in unit operations, demonstrating professional behaviors and supporting goals of the unit.
- Participate in non-direct patient care activities, including educational activities, quality improvement activities, and hospital/unit committees.
- Diploma or degree in a college-level science field, such as polysomnography or electroneurodiagnostics.
- Registration as a Polysomnography Technician or Electroneurodiagnostic Technician, or registry eligibility.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, maintain good interpersonal relationships, and adapt to change in a positive manner.
