About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist/Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehab team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will work closely with Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physicians, advanced practice providers, Rehab nurses, OTs, PTs, and case management to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Unique Patient Populations and Features
  • Stroke
  • Trauma (including SCI)
  • LVAD
  • Organ Transplant
  • Trach
  • Head and Neck Cancer

Our Rehab Gym and Dining Room provide a supportive environment for our patients to regain their independence. We also offer advanced services, including BITS Board and IOPI.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Minimum 1-year post-graduation experience in Inpatient Rehab or Acute Care
  • Independent in performing MBSS
  • Independent in performing FEES (preferred)
  • Independent with speaking valve assessment and treatment for trach patients weaned from vent
