McKinney Vento Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker Liaison to join our team in the McKinney Vento Program. The successful candidate will provide support for school-based social workers, serve as the McKinney-Vento Liaison, and ensure the immediate enrollment of eligible students.

• Provide support for school-based social workers through peer observations, mentoring, and leading PLC meetings.
• Serve as the McKinney-Vento Liaison and ensure the immediate enrollment of all eligible students.
• Act as a liaison between school-based staff and McKinney-Vento families and the Department of DSS.
• Build and maintain community partnerships to help families obtain resources and educational supports.
• Maintain files, records, and state and federally-mandated reports related to McKinney-Vento students.

• Bachelor's degree in social work required, Master's degree preferred.
• Must have or be eligible for a North Carolina Department of Public Instruction License for School Social Worker.
• Ability to speak, understand, read, and write fluently in both English and Spanish.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with school-based staff, social workers, and community agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for students and families.

This is a full-time position for twelve months, with a salary based on state and local salary schedules.
