We are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at 22nd Century Technologies, Inc. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Administration of Dialysis: Prepare dialysate according to established procedures and patient prescriptions, and administer dialysis treatments as directed by registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
- Patient Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor patients' vital signs, including weight and temperature, and document observations and treatment parameters accurately and thoroughly.
- Equipment Maintenance and Sanitation: Maintain and sanitize dialysis equipment according to manufacturer and unit protocols, and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Participate in quality assurance and cost containment programs, and comply with agency policies and procedures, including state and federal regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience as a dialysis technician or in a related healthcare role.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs).
