We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Barbers Hill ISD. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing heating and air conditioning systems and equipment throughout the district.

• Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all HVAC systems in district facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment, and making repairs as needed.
• Install new HVAC systems and equipment, and upgrade existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other facilities staff to ensure seamless operation of all district facilities.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written reference material.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and diagnose and resolve problems.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

• Five years' experience in commercial HVAC field.
• Chiller & Boiler maintenance and repair experience.
• Pump motors; vertical/horizontal 3-30hp experience.
