Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Alabama Oncology. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the collection and processing of specimens from patients, ensuring accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process specimens from patients, maintaining proper documentation and quality control procedures.
  • Perform specimen analysis, instrument maintenance, and quality control procedures as indicated.
  • Assist with patient flow and ensure a clean working environment.
  • Process incoming orders for lab testing and chart patient results in a timely manner.
  • Update and file daily paperwork, lab logs, and maintenance logs.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in lab testing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to OSHA compliance laws and Universal Precaution procedures.
