Engineer for Performance Optimization

About the Role: As a Senior Performance Engineer at GE Appliances, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of high-performance appliances that exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative products that meet customer needs
- Evaluate competitive products and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize product performance, cost, and quality
- Analyze and resolve technical issues related to product performance, cost, and quality
Requirements:
- BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 7 or more years of engineering experience with excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced computer skills - high proficiency in Microsoft products and ability to grasp new systems quickly
- Strong project management and analytical/problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to scope and analyze cross-functional problems to generate/implement solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- Fluent in Mandarin
- Experience in developing small appliances, ice/water; EEDP Graduate
Salary Estimate: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
