The MRI Technologist PRN is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams in accordance with established standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with standards and practices set forth by the American Registry for Radiologic Technology and Radiology Department policies and procedures.
- Interact daily with patients, physicians, family members, and other hospital employees to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy, disease processes, and functions, as well as patient care, positioning, and principles of electromagnetic and computer sciences.
- Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by the American Medical Association.
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) certification from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
- Preferred: One year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
St. David's Georgetown Hospital is a comprehensive healthcare facility located in the north Austin area. Our hospital features over 100 patient beds and is known for its Level IV trauma center, Certified Primary Stroke Center, and Certified Chest Pain Center.
