About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Littleton. As a Mammography Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and performing mammography examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography examinations and meet quality standards set by Radiologists and ACR guidelines.
  • Practice all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA).
  • Assist in breast biopsies with physicians and handle appropriate paperwork and specimens.
  • Produce quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Prepare patients for exams, provide information and instruction, and respond to their physical and emotional needs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Registered Radiology Technologist (ARRT).
  • Mammography (ARRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
  • Licensed Radiology Technologist in the state of employment if working in Kansas.
