Position Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you'll play a critical role in driving revenue by providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with clients, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Operations
  • Complete opening and closing procedures, including replenishing merchandise, recovering the store, and processing shipments
  • Meet merchandise processing standards and maintain an organized and accessible work area
  • Adhere to loss prevention practices and report potential incidents
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards
  • Participate in inventory preparation and assist with additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Report to work as scheduled, record time worked accurately, and remain flexible to meet business needs
  • Follow all company operational guidelines, processes, and procedures
  • Review bulletin boards daily
Technical Expertise
  • Demonstrate a desire and ability to be learner-responsible and navigate company computer systems
  • Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently
  • Be proficient in using Distributed Order Maintenance (DOM's) and StyleFinder to locate product for clients and process transactions accurately
  • Operate phone, answering calls with an appropriate greeting, transferring, and placing calls on hold
  • Operate and understand the functions of the Point of Sale (POS) system
Product/Brand Management
  • Understand and articulate the company's brand positioning, including current marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Live the company's purpose, values, and behaviors in all interactions
  • Participate in and attend store meetings
  • Proactively use associate education tools to build product and styling knowledge with peers
  • Embrace fashion, understand current market trends, and articulate them using company interpretations in every client interaction
  • Packages and wraps client purchases according to company standards
Requirements
  • Client Service: Ability to function as a role model, ensuring the client remains the top priority
  • Follow Directions: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision and within designated timeframes
  • Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain with company guidelines
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, management, business partners, and store associates
  • Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error
  • Schedule: Remain flexible in scheduling to meet business needs
  • Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally, maneuver effectively around the sales floor and stock room
Educational Requirements and Experience
  • Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year sales associate or relevant experience in the services industry with proven results
