Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at LCMC Health East Jefferson General Hospital.

Job Summary:

The Travel Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab, including coronary and peripheral angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and cardiology, with experience working with invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, and structural heart IR modalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab, including coronary and peripheral angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including Phillips single and bi-plane systems.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, including pre-procedure and post-procedure care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce complications.
Requirements:
  • ARRT certification required.
  • BLS certification necessary.
  • LSRT certification a must (temporary LSRT can be accepted with proof of ARRT certification).
  • Experience with Phillips single and bi-plane systems required.
  • Preferred experience with Siemens systems.
