Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation program.

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients with complex neurological injuries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques and be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients with complex neurological injuries, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment, treatment areas, and department spaces.
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assist in securing special adaptive equipment for patients to improve function.
  • Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Adhere to standards of the Company's Code of Conduct, policies, Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act, Corporate Compliance programs, and appropriate professional practice standards and applicable state/federal laws.
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing.
  • Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance with state regulations.
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
  • Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail.
