Job Title: Recreation Assistant

Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recreation Assistant to join our team. As a Recreation Assistant, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing activity programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing activity programs that meet the diverse needs and interests of our clients.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive environment that fosters socialization, recreation, and relaxation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
  • Provide individualized support to clients with varying levels of ability and need.
  • Document client progress and program outcomes to inform future service delivery.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid California driver's license required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • One year of experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, with at least one year of full-time experience in an activities program in a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric setting with the chronically severe and persistent mentally ill.
