Public Works Equipment Operator

Are you an experienced equipment operator looking for a new challenge? The City of Forest Park is seeking a Public Works Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, backhoes, and rollers.
Job DescriptionThis is a hands-on role that requires excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. As a Public Works Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment
- Maintain equipment and report any issues
- Assist in training and supervising other operators
- Participate in quality control inspections
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in equipment operation, including experience with heavy equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is essential for this role.
