Sanitation Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to join our team at JCSI. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our Sanitation Department and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Sanitation Department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and develop lead associates and ensure that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively with management and employees to address and resolve departmental issues.
  • Compile and submit required reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Document actions taken to resolve deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage employee timesheets and approve scheduled time off.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and work rules.
  • Conduct regular employee evaluations and implement disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Represent the department at company meetings and functions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in plant sanitation within food or beverage manufacturing.
  • 1+ year of previous supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with Hazard Analysis Control Critical Process (HACCP) and procedures.
  • English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Location: JCSI

Salary: $65K-$75K commensurate with experience
