As a Healthcare Medication Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and their families at SRI Management, LLC dba Bay Port of FWB. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and effective administration of medications while providing compassionate support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold the core values of our organization by treating all individuals with respect and dignity.
  • Supervise the self-administration of medications, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), meal service, light housekeeping, and laundry, promoting independence.
  • Engage with residents at all levels of care, demonstrating empathy and kindness.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' health and emotional well-being to the supervisor.
  • Facilitate dining experiences for residents during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Initiate and participate in leisure activities as outlined in the activity calendar.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in accordance with established schedules.
  • Respond promptly to residents' requests for assistance, ensuring effective communication.
  • Ensure residents sign out when leaving the community.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, reporting any hazards immediately.
  • Collaborate with team members to accomplish shared goals.
  • Participate in training and development activities as required.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A current Medication Technician (Med-Tech) certification.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic math skills for medication administration.
  • Proficiency in using word processing software and electronic medical records.

Physical Requirements:
The role requires regular standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
