Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a Registered Nurse in our Mental Health department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Accurately and timely document AFS, progress notes, and observation sheets.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients, maintaining professional boundaries.
- Participate in patient rounds or teams and complete patient care assignments.
- Identify patient behaviors that contribute to the development of a crisis and utilize non-verbal and verbal techniques to de-escalate crisis situations.
- Communicate changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse and follow Standards of Care and protocols for assigned patients.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Prefer two years of college plus one year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
- Licensure: N/A
- Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in collaboration with others.
