Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at FirstService Residential. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements, to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and report back to supervisors.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with building staff to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Perform various tasks, including painting, carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing, as required.
  • Utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in building trades, repair, and maintenance or handy work.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions, including standing, bending, and climbing.
