Job Title: Traveling Interventional Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Traveling Interventional Radiology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in interventional radiology and will be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, analyzing lab results and medical history, providing education to patients and families, and monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including checking vital signs
  • Analyze lab results and medical history
  • Provide education to patients and families
  • Insert and remove IV lines
  • Administer drugs, including conscious sedation drugs
  • Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures
  • Oversee the safety and comfort of patients
  • Provide post-procedure monitoring
Requirements:
  • Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
  • BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families
Work Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in interventional radiology
