Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Mercy Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Of New England. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and serving as a technical resource to physicians and other healthcare workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory care services to patients of all ages, including the administration of inhaled medications and bronchopulmonary procedures.
  • Set up, operate, and manage patient care on respiratory-related equipment, including mechanical ventilators and high-flow oxygen devices.
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, smoking cessation, and treatment procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care, minimum of a two-year Associate's Degree.
  • Current State of MA Respiratory Therapist License.
  • CRT or RRT by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Benefits
  • This overnight position is 7p-7a for 5 or 6 shifts in a two-week pay cycle.
  • Requires every third weekend. Shift, weekend, and holiday differentials apply.
