We are seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in the Nursing Division of the Fulton County Board of Health. As a PH Registered Nurse 3, you will provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and procedures, focusing on the prevention of illness, injury, or disability, and the promotion of health and maintenance of the health of populations.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to populations with special needs during disasters/emergencies and biological and chemical protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans that promote health and well-being.
- Conduct health assessments, develop and implement health education programs, and provide counseling and support to individuals and communities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- One year of PHN experience and current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- CPR certification.
