Job Title: Host

We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Host to join our team at Razzoo's Cajun Cafe. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, making them feel welcome and valued.
  • Manage table seating and answer phones in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide menu information and make recommendations to guests as needed.
  • Assist with taking phone orders and delivering them to the bartender.
  • Ensure the entrance area is clean and stocked, and that the restrooms are tidy and well-maintained.
  • Participate in executing birthday celebrations and other special events.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a full-service restaurant environment is helpful, but not required.
  • Successful completion of Razzoo's training program is required.
  • Must be of legal age to work required hours in compliance with federal, state or local laws.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
Working Conditions:
  • Stationed at the restaurant entrance and dining areas.
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple guests and coworkers moving about at the same time.
  • Background noise from guests and employees speaking simultaneously, equipment noise, and background music.
  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures in the kitchen and walk-ins.
