We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at MedCura Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and medical services to individuals, families, and groups.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic complaints related to specialty, adhering to standardized procedures.
- Obtain complete histories and perform pertinent physical exams, assessing normal and abnormal findings on new patients.
- Initiate arrangements for hospital admissions and discharges, completing necessary paperwork.
- Effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, staff, and community members from diverse backgrounds.
- Recognize situations requiring immediate physician attention and initiate life-saving procedures when necessary.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in the State of Georgia.
- Current Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Experience in community health centers is desirable, but a high level of interest in community medicine is acceptable in lieu of experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
