Job Description

River Crossing YMCA, a charitable nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to support our Toddler Program. This role is responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a safe and engaging environment for toddlers
  • Lead age-appropriate activities
  • Ensure compliance with state and YMCA guidelines for child safety and well-being
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with children (professional, volunteer, or familial)
  • High school diploma; college credits in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Age 18+
  • Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen
